I have been working for more than 40 years in the insurance and reinsurance industry, as an underwriter, reinsurance broker, captive manager and run-off manager. In this respect I was also involved in claims management, TPA, and telematic projects.

I acquired my  experience  by working on the non-life reinsurance and insurance treaty programs of prestigious clients such as AGEAS Group – Cat business - ( Belgium), AGF France (now Allianz)– international organisations health programs - , Ceska Pojistovna – Marine Cargo-, Kooperativa Pojistovna – bouquet of non-life business-, VZP Pojitsovna – travel health business- ( Prague), Allianz Bulgaria- motor TPL- ( Sofia), PICC ( Peking), Union Insurance – non-life programs - (Taipei), AXA Belgium, Generali ( Netherlands), Wiener Städtische ( Vienna), and others. I have experience working with Lloyd’s Syndicates, German and Swiss reinsurers and international Underwriting agencies.

I negotiated  the acquisition of claims portfolios ( long tail business) and looked for the financing of underreserved portfolios.

During my carreer I travelled to over 60 countries in all parts of the world and participated annually to the main industry events in Monte Carlo, Baden-Baden, Hydra ( Greece) and Sinaia ( Romania).  I frequently visited the main markets such as London, Bermuda, Paris, Luxemburg, Zürich and Münich in order to strengthen my relations with the main players of this industry.

As a multilingual specialist I have access to markets where others have difficulties to penetrate.

If I am not at work or reading about history I enjoy a good game of golf with my friends .
